A Prehispanic Chef-Inspired Dinner and Cultural Experience
Friday, February 6 | 6:00 PM | MeXo
Join us for an intimate evening honoring Xochiquetzal, the Mexica goddess of beauty, love, fertility, and creative expression, revered across central Mexico and deeply rooted in the Tlaxcalteca region.
As part of Chef Oscar Moreno’s 2026 Dinner Series, this experience invites guests to travel through time and taste, exploring the flavors, ingredients, and techniques of prehispanic Mexico through a modern culinary lens.
Guided by Chef Oscar, the multi-course menu draws from ancestral cooking methods such as stone grinding, nixtamalization, and open-fire techniques, paired thoughtfully with contemporary Mexican expressions. Each course tells a story of place, ritual, and tradition, bridging ancient foodways with the Mexico we know today.
The evening includes curated cocktail pairings designed to complement each course, highlighting native ingredients and traditional flavor profiles.
This is more than a dinner. It is a celebration of beauty, creativity, and love as understood by ancient cultures, expressed through food meant to be shared, remembered, and felt.
